Nope, not at all! Just tell us what you want the Cognita Robot to do, and as long as our programming can support it, we’ll make it happen!

Additionally, our robots are always programmed in accordance to Isaac Asimov’s “Three Laws of Robotics”:

  • A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
  • A robot must obey orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
  • A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

No.  Cognita Robots are sent to you pre-programmed based on the Use Case scenario(s) you’ve defined.  Any attempt to alter our programming could result in damage to the robot.  Damages to Cognita Robots will result in a fee.

We need 1-2 weeks lead time for pre-defined Use Case programming and 4-6 weeks lead time for custom Use Case programing.

Battery time for Nao is about 90 minutes and 60 minutes for Alpha at full operation.  We do recommend keeping the units plugged in during event show times to ensure continuous play.

When you receive your Cognita Robot, you will be provided with a easy 3-5 step instruction card. It will be easy as pressing the “play button” on your favorite music device!

Cognita Robots are sent via FedEx – Next Day Air with direct signature required. Once your event is finished, place the robot back the hard case the robot was shipped in, affix the provided return shipping label and drop off at your nearest FedEx or FedEx Authorized Shipping Center.

If one of our robots fail, simply record the failure and we will refund (or credit) for the day and send a replacement unit via FedEx – Next Day Air.

If a Cognita Robot is physically damaged during use, you will be billed the full cost of a replacement unit.  If the software is damaged or altered, a fee will be assessed.

If a Cognita Robot is damaged during shipping, call us ASAP so that we can document the damage.

We will send you a replacement unit FedEx – Next Day Air and we’ll take the rest up with FedEx.

You will not incur any cost under this scenario.

Our robots have an aluminum-alloy structure and ABS housing making units durable and safe for standard operation. As with any valuable hardware, Cognita Robots must be handled with care.

Simply contact your Congita Sales Representative and they will help you make amendments to your contract.

Yes, you can order a change in the color of the robot.  This change will take an additional 3-4 weeks for an additional fee of $1750.

Absolutely, you can order as many Cognita Robots as your budget supports!
